Hi there,

Nadine and Maggie here. We are two Midwest living, small-biz loving gals with entrepreneurship embedded into our DNA. We grew up with small business owners and know what it’s like to be a small business owner ourselves.

Our marketing roots stem from traditional education and real-world corporate experience, but more so, from an insatiable curiosity to understand people at their core – their values, motivations, and behaviors -  and how to create influence using the power of words.

We’ve lived the commitment of time, energy, and of yourself to pursue your dream. We feel you on your burning desire to create something new, something different, something better. We've grappled with the doubt and the fear of those “what if” questions that plague every business owner. But, we also know that those doubts aren't strong enough to stop you in your pursuit of creating a business you give a damn about.

Together, we can kick things into high gear and accomplish the unimaginable.

Expertise, etc.

Nadine Pizarro / Legend has it, Nadine was born a marketer. While her friends played with Cabbage Patch Kids, she spent her days writing stories, psychoanalyzing people, and was told time and time again to stop asking so many questions. Years later, she channeled all that energy into a marketing career where she could write, analyze, and question to her heart's content. She's worked with some of the brightest companies in town, helping Anderson Consulting rebrand to Accenture and developing content marketing and lead generation programs (before they were even a thing) at Morningstar. Plus, she's got an MBA from Northwestern, where she often completed entire projects the day they were assigned. Yep, Nadine's what we like to call an expert around here.

Maggie Nelson / Maggie has been unapologetically obsessed with the internet for over a decade. She built her first website when she was 12 (in case you were wondering, it was a Hilary Duff fan page - go team Hilz) and spent her free time mastering Paint Shop Pro and devouring social media everything. Maggie has a degree in relational communication from DePaul University because relationships are her favorite topic at the dinner table, and though she started her marketing career at Morningstar serendipitously, it's no accident she's in marketing.

The best book ever written?

I don’t even know where to begin, but right now I would have to say, 11/22/63 by Stephen King

Favorite place of all time:

Awe-inspiring serenity: Sedona, Arizona or Taylor Bay in the Turks and Caicos

Jimmy Kimmel or Jimmy Fallon?

Tough call, but Fallon gets the nod for being just so relatable and likable

If I were a meme, I would be this one:

About 40 miles up the Gunflint Trail in the heart of the Boundary Waters, to a magical place called Loon Lake
